The Cover Armchair, designed by Thomas Bentzen in 2013 for Muuto, offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic wooden chair. This design embodies the enduring appeal of Danish craftsmanship, conceived to be a lasting piece that can be passed down through generations.

Crafted from form-pressed wood, the chair features an innovative technique where the wood is elegantly folded over the legs and backrest, seamlessly joining the elements without visible screws or fittings. Lighter versions are made from oak or oak veneer, while coloured variants feature a solid beech wood core with ash veneer, all protected by a water-based lacquer that enhances the wood's natural grain. For added comfort, the seat can be upholstered in textile, imitation leather, or genuine leather.

With its clean lines and Nordic aesthetic, the Cover Armchair integrates gracefully into various settings, from the dining room to a quiet reading nook in the living room.
